In this portfolio you will find snaps of several cities. Actually published are the galleries of:

• Berlin
• Hongkong
• Venice
• NEW: Capri

In Hongkong I have been in 1989 and all pictures were taken at this visit when Hongkong was still under British government. There are snaps from island Hongkong, the mainland Kowloon and the former called New Territories.

The Venice series I made in March and April 2004. It includes besides Venice itself two other beautiful islands in the lagoon - Murano and Burano - and the Lido di Venezia.

The pictures in the Berlin gallery are mostly actual ones from 2003 and 2004, but some were taken in 1990, the year after the fall of the Berlin wall; these are marked with (1990).

New in this portfolio is the Capri series. I've been there lots of years ago, in the middle of Eighties. All snaps were made with a Canon A1 and the f3.5/35-105 zoom lens, and the "software" I've used was the Kodachrome 64 slide film.

Nowadays, the equipment I carry around for taking snaps by strolling through the cities consists of two motorized Canon F1 New camera bodies loaded with black and white negative (Ilford Delta) and dia positive (Agfa Scala 200x) and colour slide (Fuji Sensia and Kodak EPP) films and a handful of Canon FD lenses with focal lengths of 28, 35, 50, 85 and 135 mm. For black and white snaps I have yellow, orange, yellow-green, green and red filters with me.
